Founded in 2022, EDJI Gallery was born with a mission to challenge the conventions of traditional art galleries. After a series of itinerary exhibitions in Paris, London, and New York, the gallery established its permanent home in Brussels—a city we view as a forward-thinking pivotal center for contemporary art in Europe. Much like the spirit of our gallery, Brussels is charged with a creative energy that feels both restless and full of possibility. It’s a place where diversity, art, and innovation collide in exciting, unpredictable ways, making it the ideal setting for what we aim to build.
With a focus on ultracontemporary artists—those born after 1975—EDJI Gallery celebrates the diversity of voices redefining the art landscape today. Our program highlights artists tackling critical themes such as identity, gender, and societal change, creating work that speaks to the complexities of contemporary culture. Women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ artists are leading this new movement, driving not only a more inclusive and diverse art world but also reshaping the industry with a greater presence of marginalized voices.
